We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Awards evening 🏆.

Our pupils have been working hard 💪 all year and gaining valuable experience and skills and have achieved some fantastic milestones and successes.

The evening will celebrate ✨ the amazing progress and achievements for our pupils and we would love to invite parents, carers, pupils and partnerships to celebrate with us at the life church.

We will also be celebrating the success of the year 11 pupils who will be moving on to their next adventure!

What a fabulous week this week at ST James. The primaries have done some fantastic science. And primaries and secondaries have completed the Bleep Test which showed some great results. All pupils have worked well across all areas. School is closed for Bank Holiday Monday and will open again on Tuesday. To all pupils have a fantastic weekend and we will see you on Tuesday.

In celebration of Earth day pupils at Burnley St James created their own time capsule filled with items to look back on in years to come to show how time changes around us. Pupils dug a hole and buried the capsule. Great teamwork given by all.

That's a wrap 🎬for HT4!. What an amazing term! Pupils have participated in the following:
Swimming 🏊‍♀️
Boxing 🥊
Golfing ⛳
Gym 🏋‍♂️
Forest school 🌲.
Plus trips to the circus and caving.

Pupils have worked incredibly hard this term and we are super proud of them. We have a fantastic HT5 planned and we will look forward to seeing all our pupil after the half term break.

Just a gentle reminder that tomorrow is parent carer day here at St James. We look forward to seeing you all to discuss the amazing work the pupils have done this half term.

What a fantastic and busy week we have had at St James Burnley ! 🏫

Pupils have been hard at work this week gaining volunteering hours towards their Duke of Edinburgh award by completing Project Planter. This allowed pupils to develop on a range of skills such as communication and teamwork aswell as transferable practical skills and what an amazing job they have done 👏

Also this week pupils have been participating in a range of sporting activities such as swimming 🏊‍♀️, project 180 which cover a range of fitness activities 🏋‍♂️, and golf ⛳ with group lessons to develop technique.

Within the school 🏫 Pupils have been hard at work completing academic work towards their BTEC and wider curriculum covering a range of subjects including Functional Skills Maths and English.

What an amazing week 🙌 !
