We’re incredibly excited to announce our new evolution within the fitness education space.

XCert Fitness Education.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve been refining our offerings to help students to have the best possible experience with their L3 diploma to become fitness coaches and personal trainers, and it’s allowed us to put together what we feel is the highest standard of personal training qualification possible.

Built from our decades of coaching experience, and the last few years of teaching aspiring personal trainers, our brand new flagship L3 diploma in personal training is unmatched.

Over 10 weeks of practicals and online learning, we’ll take students from someone interested in fitness, to a skilled and effective personal trainer or fitness coach.

With our redesigned and upgraded course, we felt it was only right to give our branding the upgrade it deserved. This is no longer just something else we offer at FX, but a standalone partner of looking to offer a premium level of education in the fitness space.

Knowing what to expect from your clients regarding rate of weight loss is a crucial part of personal training.

It allows us to set realistic goals and timescales, and keeps us (as coaches) accountable to the results.

Rate of loss is individual, and will absolutely need factors to be controlled for the weigh ins to keep good data, but having a ballpark idea is crucial.

Generally during a focused fat loss phase for anyone who’s not a complete beginner, we’d be looking at a rate of 0.5-2% loss per week. Generally, the less lean individuals will be ok higher in that range (closer to 1-2%) and leaner will be at the lower end (0.5-1%).
