'Learning & Growing Together Through Faith, Hope & Love' Welcome to our school. Wellfield is a popular and successful church school set in spacious grounds.

All we do is guided by the beliefs set out in our Mission Statement and our six core Gospel Values. We also strive to provide an atmosphere in which children feel secure and valued, with each child treated as an individual and encouraged to develop his or her own special talents. Good manners and behaviour are regarded as key elements in a balanced all round education, and we believe this prepare

Last Tuesday, our wonderful choir took to the stage at the Let’s Go Sing concert, representing Wellfield with incredible enthusiasm and talent. We are so proud of every pupil for their hard work, confidence, and shining performance. Well done to you all—your voices truly made us proud! 🎶👏

Yesterday, we celebrated World Book Day through our theme of bedtime stories - the children thoroughly enjoyed living in a storytelling world of imagination, awe and wonder for the day.

As part of British Science Week, our children took part in an immersive VR Workshop where children experienced what it was like to hurtle through space, shrink down and explore inside the human body, view the world as minibeasts, hunt with wild animals or explore climate change.

We had a great time and learnt lots!

Last week, two of our Wonderful Year 5 Worship Warriors attended a Pupil Conference run by the Blackburn Diocese. There was lots of Lego fun throughout the day! Betty and Koral were exceptional representatives for our school and they showed great maturity in their work and responses to the activities set.

Well done girls!

A huge WELL DONE to our Year 5 and 6 pupils who represented school at the Sport Hall Athletics competition last week. They competed amazingly and were unlucky to miss out on qualifying for the Regional Finals but managed to finished 3rd overall. They all gave it everything they had and showed all the school's gospel values throughout. Well done guys!

A few months ago, one of our amazing Year 5 pupils Ellie, auditioned to take part in Pendleside's Got Talent through Pendleside Hospice. Unbelievably, she made her way through to the semi final and has been awarded a place in the final on 7th March at Burnley Mechanics.

As a school, we are so amazingly proud of Ellie for not only having the confidence to undertake this challenge and sing solo in front of so many people but also for raising money for such an important cause.

Ellie is still fundraising and if you feel you could support her, please click on the link below.

Well done Ellie - we will be rooting for you on 7th March!!
