It also provides practical advice to help families create safer viewing environments, including:

Live Simply Group Spreads Kindness 💛
Our Live Simply group made a wonderfully selfless decision this week, and staff are incredibly proud of them. The children have chosen to make a birthday card for a brave little girl called Amelia, whose last wish is to receive 8,000 cards for her 8th birthday.
We would love for our school community to get involved. If your child would like to make a card for Amelia at home, we will collect and send them together.
Please ensure any cards are brought into school by Thursday 12th February, ready for posting in time for Amelia’s birthday on 3rd March.
Thank you, as always, for your continued kindness and support.

We are all so proud of you Penny 👏
🌟 From Burnley FC Women Juniors to Manchester City Academy! 🌟
Huge congratulations to Penny, whose journey through our pathway has been nothing short of inspiring.
Starting with Burnley FC Women Juniors in 2023, Penny grew in confidence, skill, and love for the game - earning Manager’s Player for 2024/25. After bravely trying out goalkeeping “just for fun”, she discovered her passion and never looked back.
Her standout moment? Conceding just one goal in seven matches at her first U12s tournament… then making crucial saves and scoring the winning penalty in the final! 🧤⚽
Penny embraced every opportunity: tournaments, matchday experiences at Turf Moor, meeting Rachel Brown-Finnis, and building friendships that will last a lifetime.
Now she takes her next exciting step - signing with Manchester City Academy! 💙
We’re incredibly proud of her journey and can’t wait to see what she achieves next.
