What a fantastic Roman Day our Year 4 pupils have had! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ›๏ธ
The children fully immersed themselves in life in Roman Britain and took part in a range of exciting activities throughout the day. From soldier training to tasting Roman-style foods.
We also got creative by building Roman roads using biscuits, chocolate and marshmallows โ€“ a delicious way to explore engineering! ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿช They enjoyed learning about life in Roman schools and even had a go at writing in Latin.
Itโ€™s been wonderful to see such enthusiasm, curiosity and teamwork. A big well done to all of Year 4 for making the day so memorable!

Last Friday, some of our Year 4, 5 and 6 children had the privilege of visiting Emirates Old Trafford, home of the Lancashire Cricket team. The children had a fantastic day watching Lancashire take on Middlesex and enjoyed taking part in lots of fun activities around the ground. One of the highlights of the day was watching the mascot race, where everyone cheered loudly as our very own Bertie Bee raced to victory! The children were a credit to the school and thoroughly enjoyed this memorable experience. ๐Ÿ
