Calling all Brunshaw students and parents past and present. As you will be aware our Fantastic Mr. Kay is taking part in this year's Pendleside does Strictly Come Dancing.

As part of his fundraising campaign he is doing his own 40 mile Theatre Journey. This 3 day event will include him and his brothers travelling past Brunshaw Primary School this Saturday, the 1st of August. He thinks he'll be walking past at around about 2.30PM so we're asking anyone local who wants to come and cheer him along to meet at the school for around 2.15PM. Bring your best cheering voices to spur him on, oh and some cash for his buckets wouldn't go amiss either!

We've done it again!

This week we welcomed Sam Hoban into Brunshaw from the Equality and Diversity Team at Lancashire County Council to show her all the hard work we have been doing at here regarding Equality and Diversity. We have particularly been focusing on Race and Religion and Belief and, after speaking to the children, governors, staff and parents, we are delighted to announce that we have been accredited with the
Race Equality and Religion and Belief Equality and Inclusion badges.

On Monday 6th July at 9:00am, we'll be watching the highlights of the England vs Mexico match in school as part of our World Cup celebrations.

Please ensure your child arrives on time so they don't miss the start of this exciting event.

As highlighted on our poster:
👕 Normal school uniform should be worn.
🤫 Parents, please keep the result a secret! We'd love the children to experience all the excitement and enjoy watching the highlights together without knowing the outcome.
🌿 Children who would prefer not to watch will have the option to take part in calm, relaxing activities with staff.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic gardener to help keep our school looking its best!

🌿 We’re looking for someone to attend once a week to:

Tend to the flower beds at the front of the school
W**d, plant, and maintain the area
Keep the surrounding space clean, tidy, and welcoming

🌿 About the role:

Flexible day/time (to be agreed)
Ongoing, regular work
A great opportunity to help maintain a lovely school environment

🌿 Who we’re looking for:

Someone dependable and self-motivated
Experience in gardening or grounds maintenance preferred
Takes pride in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces
