🎺BRASS AT THE SEASIDE 2026 🎺

We are very excited for this years ‘Brass at the Seaside’ festival, in Lytham St Annes, on the weekend of the 11th & 12th July, funded by Lancashire County Council.

The Bandstand on St Annes promenade will be brought to life by 15 bands, each taking to the stage over the weekend!

Bring your deckchair and join us in watching and listening to the wonderful live music! ⛱️

Our end of year concert was amazing. Students performed exceptionally well despite the unusual warmer temperatures. You made teachers, parents and all the staff very proud.

We only have 2 weeks remaining for new students to visit the Centre and try our various ensembles to give you a head start for September.

We are open Tuesday, 30th June and 7th July from 3.40pm until 8pm.

Tomorrow we are welcoming new students at Burnley Music Centre to our Choir open evening at 5.50pm until 6.20pm. There are still places available for all eager singers.

Our Samba Band Workshop is underway this evening.

Burnley Music Centre looks forward to welcoming all our students, parents, staff and new visitors on our return tomorrow on Tuesday, 2nd June 2026 from 3.30pm.

There are still 4 places remaining for our Samba Band Workshop at 4.30pm until 5.00pm tomorrow, 2nd June. Email: [email protected] to reserve your place.

Our Summer Concert is on Tuesday 30th June at 6pm and anyone is welcome to attend.

On Tuesday, 21st May Burnley Music Centre welcomed new students to our 'Come and Play Progression Event Workshop' which culminated in a sharing performance for parents.

We are on half term next week but return on Tuesday, 2nd June if you would like to join our Samba Band Workshop and take a tour of the Centre.

It's not to late to join us at Burnley Music Centre tomorrow evening for our Progression Workshop.

If you currently play clarinet, saxophone, flute, recorder or trumpet come along from 4pm for an evening of music making with us.
