Following the announcement about the re-opening of the Northampton club and the return of Sensei Walters. Sensei has taken the time to reflect on his life and journey through Aikido. From early beginnings in 1981 and first meetings with Sensei Williams, to moving to Somerset and a promise made, all the way to his recent struggles and the resilience and commitment to make it back to the mat, and to teaching. A must-read article for anyone in Aikido, no matter where they are in their own journey, and a fantastic read for those who are interested in this art of ours and are looking to take that first step.
