Just in case you weren't aware, Wales and West Utilities will be doing some Gas Maintenance in Wi******er Road starting this week - most probably on Friday 23rd January - for up to 10 weeks.

Although the road will be passable, there will be disruption to the drop off and collection routines so we are asking you not to use vehicles if possible or park slightly further away to avoid congestion and NOT to use Wi******er or Gloucester Road We also must stress that the car park is not for the use of parents without prior agreement - that is for the school as well as the Daycare parents and children.
We have been advised of a few near misses of late and although it is a regular request for parents to not use the carpark, it is still happening both from Daycare parents and school parents.

Please don't. It is seriously an accident waiting to happen which we need to avoid. This is a request from the school too.

So - basically - please be aware of ongoing roadworks and please do not use the carpark to drop off!

Have you visited the library yet? Don't forget to help decorate our tree! Some of our children have visited today and it is looking rather lovely - but there is room for more sparkle - crafty resources are there, it's warm inside and we would love you to take part.

Somerset Libraries Burnham-on-Sea are a great resource for books, DVDs, classes and lots of other activities if you aren't a member - for both children and adults. We're so lucky to have it in the town and work with them especially at Christmas time. Pop in if you are passing and have a look 👀☃️🎅🎄

A huge thank you to Octopus Children's Daycare for the beautiful Xmas tree that we now have and to all the children who came in to decorate it today. There's plenty of materials under the tree to create your own decorations, so come in and add to the festive fun 🎄🎅⛄️
