🦆🌞 Summer Holidays Duck Update 🌞🦆
This morning our ducks were having a wonderful time playing washing themselves in the pools before tucking into breakfast! And just look how big they’ve got! They’ve also been enjoying visits and treats from our lovely volunteering parent duck squad and staff - what lucky ducks we have 💚🦌

Robins class had such a fantastic time making their pizzas for their food technology unit (DT)
After designing we really enjoyed making them and tasting a slice together in class during our pizza party!🍕
We then evaluated how good they were...and it was a big thumbs up from everyone👍🏻Well done Robins class♥️

Last week our Year 6 leavers went to Paultons Park and had a fantastic day going on all the rides ! This treat was paid for by the BPSA who fund raise all year to provide our children with opportunities like this. The minibus was also paid for, by one of our wonderful families so thank you to everyone for enabling our Year 6s to leave Burley with another core memory 🥰

🏃‍♂️☀️ Federation Sports Day – Monday 20th July! ☀️🏃‍♀️

After last month’s event was postponed due to the weather, we’re excited that Federation Sports Day is finally taking place on Monday 20th July – and the forecast is looking much more promising! 🌞

We’re looking forward to welcoming pupils from Sopley Primary School and Burley Primary School for a fantastic day of sport, teamwork, cheering and friendly competition. 🎉

We’ll be serving refreshments throughout the day, including hot and cold drinks and a selection of snacks.

💷 Please remember to bring some change if you’d like to purchase refreshments.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for sunshine and can’t wait to see everyone on Monday for what promises to be a fantastic day! 🏅☀️

Yesterday evening the federation staff of Burley Primary School and Sopley Primary School celebrated the academic year with a tropical beach themed party! 🌴☀️
A big thank you to our admin dream team party planners Mrs Buckley, Mrs Morris & Mrs Rixon.
It was a lovely way to celebrate with our federation team. Thank you for the hard work the staff put in every day to help the children at Burley and Sopley Primary School flourish!

Today our amazing Woodpeckers put on two performances of 'Grimm - Once Upon a Musical' and what a fantastic job they did. Each child remembered their lines and sang their hearts out. We couldn't be prouder of them. Thank you to all the staff - Miss Goodall, Miss Saxby and Mrs Hepple for helping with prompts and expression, Mrs Carey for rehearsing the songs and Mrs Stillwell for the background and props. Burley - you smashed it once again 🤩
