💃 Just use SOLÍA + the INFINITIVE to talk about what you USED TO do - it works 99.9% of the time! 🤩

🇪🇸 It’s particularly useful if you can’t remember your JUGABA or your COMÍA! Although ‘ABA’ & ‘ÍA’ aren’t too difficult to remember if you think of the group ABBA and MAMA MÍA!

🌍 EUROVISION in VIENNA tomorrow! 🇦🇹

✍🏻 As a SCHOOL TEACHER, I used to regularly seek out the Eurovision songs in FRENCH, SPANISH & GERMAN for fun, interactive & tuneful lessons!

😳 BUT NOW, most of Europe sing in ENGLISH!

🇬🇧 However this year, the UK sings its chorus in GERMAN 🇩🇪 - Eins, Zwei, Drei… 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣

🇦🇹 AUSTRIA (Österreich) is hosting the song contest and thankfully are singing in GERMAN - quite a catchy, techno sound!

🇩🇪 GERMANY (Deutschland) is singing about FEUER (fire) 🔥, BUT in ENGLISH!

🇨🇭SWITZERLAND (die Schweiz) sing about someone called ALICE 👧, but in ENGLISH. They didn’t make the final though…

🤔 Do you think that singing in their own language brings more FEELING to the song & also shows the CULTURE off more?
