I have some possible slots for September if anyone is in need of a tutor.
£30 an hour and preferably in the local area. KS2 preferred.

I set up Martin Cooper tutoring because I believe that learning should be about building relationships with pupils and teaching them in a creative and fun way. I want them to enjoy my sessions.
Mainstream education is now too much about structural systems, results and now the obsession with catching up. There is no time to get to know the kids and understand where they are coming from.
Yesterday I had my first session with a Year 7 boy. His mum sent the following message after the session:

'Thought I'd provide some feedback.
J's words about Martin, "he is perfect for me", "he understood my brain", "that was fun!" words I never thought I'd hear J say about maths. J was excited by all the games and different learning tools Martin had.'

I spend a lot of time personalising and planning my sessions. The children enjoy the lessons and the parents have reported that they have seen changes in their children's attitudes towards learning. I feel vindicated and excited by the progress so far.
Martin Cooper Tutoring is now full. Please contact me if you would like a place on the waiting list but 'unfortunately' you may have to wait a while.

Sign up and I'll send your child a hand-picked book once a month from my collection of children’s books. They will not have any idea what it's going to be until it arrives. Club numbers will be limited.
Age range 6-14 years. (Possible scope for adult membership for teachers or people who have a particular love of children’s literature).
First book will arrive in early January.
