Burford School Burford School - A state boarding and day school on the edge of the Cotswolds. Burford School was founded in 1571.

We are a day and boarding school for students aged 11-18 offering a wide range of educational, cultural, sporting and extracurricular activities. We have an impressive record of academic success at GCSE and A Level with over 200 students in the 6th Form. We welcome visits by prospective students and parents throughout the year.

Huge congratulations to Alice Wilson in Year 12 who won a Gold Award in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, run by St Catherine’s College. Over 7000 students from around 500 schools took part in this year’s competition.

A wonderful time was had by all at the Year 11 Prom held in the beautiful grounds of Heythrop Park on Friday 2 July.
