Summer holidays have been the BEST break, but now… it’s time to get back into Dance United mode! 💃✨

September is coming and we are getting READY! 🎉

Here’s our new timetable — so whether you’ve been dancing with us for years, or you’ve been thinking about joining us for the first time, now is the time to SIGN UP!

At Dance United, it’s never about being the loudest, the most confident or the “best” dancer in the room.

✨ Everyone is seen. Everyone is valued. Everyone gets their moment. ✨

Whether you’re quiet, confident, a complete beginner or already love to dance — there is a place for you at DU. 🤍

Because yes, we teach dance… but we’re also here to build confidence, create friendships and give every dancer the chance to shine.

And just like that, the academic year has come to an end for Dance United! 💕✨

I tried to grab a quick photo at the end of classes last week, but some of my classes managed to escape before I could get one 😂 So, if you’re not pictured, please know you are very much part of our DU family!

I just want to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful parents and students. Personally, this has been a really tricky year for me, and every single one of you has shown me nothing but love, kindness and support. I am so incredibly grateful. ❤️

Each and every child brings so much happiness to Dance United, and I feel truly lucky to watch them grow, learn and flourish. We’ve had such a brilliant year, from competitions to performing and experiencing the incredible Northampton theatre — so many memories that I’ll treasure.

Next academic year is an especially exciting one because we begin preparing for our Dance United show, which we only put on every two years! 🎭✨ That means costumes, makeup, choreography and lots of exciting new routines. We’ll be starting our first show routines in September, so it’s a brilliant time to join DU and be part of it all!

As always, the biggest aim at Dance United is to build confidence. I truly believe there is no better way to do that than through movement, creativity and dance. It’s something I am so incredibly passionate about, and honestly, I feel very lucky to have the students that I do.

I hope they learn lots from me, but the truth is, I learn just as much from them. ❤️

Enjoy your summer, my lovely ones. You’ve all worked so hard, and now it’s time to rest, have fun and enjoy the sunshine. ☀️💕 I can’t wait to see you all again in September, when the real work begins… and we start bringing our next DU show to life! 🎭✨

DU spam all week 🙊😎

A huge thank you to .pa for an amazing day at the Royal & Derngate Theatre in Northampton. The girls absolutely loved the experience, and every member of your team was so kind and welcoming to them — it really created such a lovely, positive atmosphere that we’re so proud to be part of.

To our wonderful chaperones, Kelly — thank you for all your help as always! And to my lovely mum, who still managed to sneak in a bit of knitting on the sidelines 😂🙊 The girls now know exactly where I get all my silly nicknames from… “come on starfish!”

And finally, to all the amazing parents who supported this adventure — with costumes, extra rehearsals, and everything in between — you really are the best. It was all so worth it! ❤️✨

Tomorrow I’ll post all the amazing videos and photos of our beautiful students and thank all the incredible people who’ve helped us along the way.

But for now, to my lovely students…

You completely blew me away today, and I truly couldn’t be any prouder. These girls are the kindest, most joyful, and slightly craziest bunch you’ll ever come across… maybe just like their teacher 😂🙄😂

But throughout the day, the teamwork we strive so hard for at DU shone through. They supported each other, lifted each other up, and helped one another with makeup and costumes every step of the way. 🩷

Backstage, every single person who walked past them was met with a “good luck” 🥹 How lucky am I that THEY chose DU? I’ve always believed DU is about building confidence and showing the world that you can be exactly who you want to be. And today, you showed everyone that you are dancers who can smile nonstop and light up every room you walk into.

Thank you for being my fishcakes, my sausages, and my fishes ❤️ You’ve made me so incredibly proud today and I adore you all!

Halloween Week At DU 🎃 a few of my favourite moments so far … The week before half term we ALWAYS have a fun week full of games and giggles! Yes dance matters but so does team work, friendly competition, learning to win and lose and most importantly having fun together! In all honesty we LOVE it ❤️
