Now that the exam season is arriving, some students might need a little extra support. I can help.
I offer tuition in your own home. or mine at a mutually convenient day and time. I work with Students of all ages and abilities to help them reach their full potential
I can help with all aspects of Primary English and Maths.
I teach English to GCSE and A Level, also Sociology and Psychology to A Level. Vocational courses such as Health and Social Care and Child Care are also within my remit.
I can also offer support and mentoring to students in Further and Higher Education and those preparing for IELTS.
I am qualified and experienced in teaching students with special educational needs(SpLD/Dyslexia).
My qualifications include: PhD, MA(Ed), BSc, Cert Ed, Dip Couns.

Hello, my name is Marion Cowell Ward. Perhaps you need someone to talk to? Someone independent of your family and friends? Someone who will listen to you, not advise you, but help you deal with issues for yourself. Someone who will listen, who will offer empathy and acceptance, not judgment, helping you to become the person you wish to be. This is me. I can offer you a confidential, non-judgmental space for you to explore your issues, and my years of experience and training in assisting you resolve your issues.

People visit a counsellor for various reasons. However, they are similar in having identified aspects of their lives which are not going well and they wish to feel better about themselves and their lives.

I take a Humanistic (person centred) approach to develop an understanding relationship with you I help you to express and explore your feelings in order for healing to begin. I can help you with issues of anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, relationships and bereavement. I work with all ages, individuals and families to achieve the outcomes they seek.

I am caring and compassionate and dedicated to my role as a counsellor. I provide a confidential and non-judgemental setting where I will listen and understand. If you have have experienced painful life transitions such as bereavement, retirement, divorce or relationship difficulties. I will help you to find ways of dealing with the issues and the feelings that they stir up.
Don’t worry if you feel that starting counselling is daunting, many people have feelings like that. But you have already taken the first step!
