I've been very quiet in posting due to navagating the changes that's happening in our family. I want to thank everyone for their kind messages, visits and support. ♥️

Please celebrate with me our wonderful little Austin, one of our mini musicians that is taking the lead in his home practice. 👏 Well done Austin. 💙 It brings me so much joy and brings a big smile to my face seeing you at your piano. 🎹🎵😃

I just received this incredible news from Lyla's Mum. Lyla played at her village acoustic night last night! 🎹🎵❤️

It's been a week of performances for Lyla. She also recently played at her School Assembly. 😃 Well done Lyla. I am super proud of you. 🥳

Join me in congratulating Clèophèe in her first attempt at playing 'King of the Afrian Drum' from Piano Safari. ⬇️

In the Piano Safari method, arm weight is introduced through the Lion Paw technique, which teaches students to use gravity rather than muscle force to produce a rich, "singing" tone. This foundational gesture involves dropping a relaxed, "heavy" arm onto the keys, allowing the wrist to follow through by dipping slightly below the key level before a graceful release.
