Hi there, I’m Sam, an arts and crafts tutor as well as a part-time lecturer at Arts University Plymouth.

I started running craft courses in Exmouth 15 years ago when I worked for Learn Devon and have recently started running craft courses again locally.

Wet Felting Workshop on Saturday 7 March at Communally Curative Creatives Don’t fancy creating a ‘selfie’? Any design on flat felt is possible!!! Here are some lovely examples from previous workshops - detail was later added to the picture of Exmouth with embroidery threads 🧵

This workshop is all about learning the process of creating a piece of felt using the wet felting method - so come along and have a go!!! Once you try it you’ll be hooked 😊

The workshop will be in Budleigh at Communally Curative Creatives in the High Street - Saturday 7 March 10:30-12:30, £30pp including all materials and tea/coffee. So come along and have a go at something new 😊

I’m really excited to be running another workshop at Communally Curative Creatives in Budleigh next month.

The workshop will be on Saturday 7th March 10:30 to 12:30 (just a week before Mothers Day) so come along and have some crafty, felty fun!!!

This workshop will be using the wet felting technique to transform lots of fluffy fibres into a piece of felt - and to make it a lot more interesting, we will be creating a ‘selfie’ or portrait!

The selfie will be about life size and could be framed or made into a small cushion afterwards 😊

Pop into the shop in Budleigh to book your place or message me. £30 per person which includes everything you need.

Only 4 days to go!! Places still available for my Needle Felting workshop next Saturday at Communally Curative Creatives in Budleigh.
Create your own woolly artwork using soft, fluffy fibres and learn simple felting techniques in a fun, relaxing session.
You can make:
🖼️ a beautiful felted picture to frame - you’ll also have time to make…
🎄 a cute decoration using a cookie cutter or a mini felted picture (perfect for turning into a Christmas card)
Details can be added using hand embroidery 🪡

Not long to go now until my Needle Felting workshops at Communally Curative Creatives in Budleigh Salterton. Two dates available - there are still spaces on both workshops.

Come along for some fluffy felty fun creating your own picture. All materials provided. Bring along a photo or create something from your imagination!

No experience required. Wool can easily be removed from your picture if you want to change as you go along. Extra details can be stitched with embroidery thread 🪡

Following requests for this workshop to be offered on a Saturday - an extra date has been added!
Saturday 6th December 10:30-12:30

A max of 8 places available on each of the dates - to book message Sam or Communally Curative Creatives or pop in to see Karen or Vanessa at CCC in Budleigh.

Create a fab fluffy felted picture to keep for yourself or to give as a gift. The colours remain vibrant after felting so no muddy brown colours! Felted pictures can easily be framed!

You can bring a photo or picture with you for inspiration - subjects previously ‘painted’ with felt include family pets, flowers, landscapes and seascapes. Extra details can be added with embroidery threads. No previous experience needed - anyone can join in with needle felting (14+ due to the sharp needles)
