Bude Maths Tuition

01/10/2026

It's October, which means that the Maths With Melv Halloween tee can be unleashed 😁🎃👻🎃👻

Jist a bit of fun, but if anyone would like one, let me know!

I'm having far too much fun with AI, so I've set myself a quirky challenge to design a different t shirt each month 😅

I don't expect anyone out there at all to want one 🤣 but if anyone does, it can be arranged 😀

Next up will be a Halloween themed one 🎃👻

Ok, back to maths now!

Thanks for a great first week back, guys!

A great mix of new and returning faces while we all adjust to "getting back to it"! 😁

Special whiteboard rubbers for the first seven new students I see this coming week 😁

Here we go again 😁

Today's the day I start sorting the timetable for the new school year! It takes a bit of time, but if we've already spoken, I'm coming!

Very excited to meet class of '27!

And, if you're new here...

Welcome to Maths With Melv!

GCSE & A-LEVEL TUITION

Now in my 14th year of tutoring full time, I offer high quality, bespoke maths lessons tailored to each individual student's needs and ability.

With a chilled, calm and patient approach, all lessons are face to face in Bude. We laugh quite a lot, too!

With zero use of online platforms / PowerPoints etc, I teach from my knowledge and vast experience, constantly finding new ways to explain the tricky bits!

In addition to teaching sessions, a large chunk of our time is spent on past paper practice - building that all-important confidence, exam technique and revision as we go. I have plenty of experience with AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards.

From the very first lesson, to the climactic results day, I support my troops unwaveringly, in and out of lessons. We go through a lot together, but we always make it through 💪

So, if you'd like some support, or have any questions, drop me a message!

Cheers, Melv 😁

Hello everyone 👋

Massive congratulations and well done to year 11 on every exam you've conquered so far 👌

I highly recommend having a well deserved weekend/few days off to relax, recharge and recuperate - you've definitely earned it! 😁

I'm still worrking over half term - can't abandon you at this point!

Mostly sticking to normal days and times, so if you need to change or can't make it, please let me know ASAP, as others are wanting extra 😀

Again, well done to you all. We're nearly there, but we've still got work to do 💪

Have a great weekend in the sun ☀️😎😁
