We are very lucky to have Woolley Moor Equestrian's fabulous arena (+ the brand new showjumps! 😍), just over the hedge from Penmeneth Meadow.

A visiting farmer dropped in, last week, and was surprised that we still have any green grass at all, at Penmeneth Meadow! 🌱🌿☘️

They might as well have told me I still look 25 years-old, as we are entering our fifth heatwave in Cornwall, this summer! 😂

Gamble would argue that there is not nearly enough. 🤨
And, Katy's Bank account would probably agree, as we are likely looking at supplementing with hay a few months early, this year! 😳

It's a price I am happy to pay, however. This summer has been absolutely glorious! 😍🌞😎

Really enjoyed a technical training session for my BD Judge's Education Pathway, this weekend. 🤓

Ahead of the training session, we get sent 20 short video clips of horse and rider combinations performing isolated test movements.

We have to judge them and assign each clip a mark, prior to the training session. We then meet up and discuss, in groups of other trainee judges, why we have assigned the marks we have.

Finally, a Tutor Judge tells us what the correct marks would have been, if it had been an exam. You are allowed to be, at most, half a mark out. 🧐

So thrilled and reassured that my whole sheet was within the correct range. 😁💯

Fills me with confidence to keep plugging away, through the qualifying process. 💪🥰
