👋 🌊 GOODBYE to Sally! 👋 🌊

Sally has been part of the Freewave family for the last four years, but our story with her goes back even further. We’ve known her since she was growing up spending her summer holidays down at the beach, before she came along to do some work experience with us. Sally then completed her Beach Lifeguard Award and eventually became a fully fledged member of the Freewave team! 🏄‍♀️🙌

It’s been brilliant watching her grow in confidence, skills and experience over the years and Sally has been an absolute joy to have around the place. Always bringing positive vibes, a huge smile and oodles of shakas! 🤙🤙🤙

Now Sally is heading off to continue her sports coaching career, working at an independent school before heading off travelling next year. 🌎✈️

We’re going to miss having you around, Sal, but we’re massively excited to see what the next chapter brings. You’ve been a big part of the Freewave crew and you’ll always be welcome back for a surf, a shaka and a catch-up! ❤️

Where do I even start?

1,000 reviews. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s taken 13 years to get to this point.

When I stop and think about the thousands of people, families, children, schools and groups that have shared experiences with us along the way, feel incredibly grateful.

The truth is, there’s no secret formula to how we’ve got here. We’ve simply tried to provide the best experience we possibly can for every person who chooses to book with us.

Things cost a lot - especially these days and especially for families. So when people spend their hard-earned money on a holiday or an experience, we know that there time with us matters. That’s why we work hard to provide genuine value for money without taking shortcuts.

We are also incredibly blessed to have a staff team now and in previous seasons that turn the values and experiences we talk about as a company into reality every single day. They give their time, energy and enthusiasm to make people’s experiences with us something they hopefully remember for a very long time.

To every single person who has left us a review over the last 13 years — thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your holidays, your children, your celebrations, your family time and your precious memories.

And to the amazing team who have helped get us here — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It really has been one hell of a ride… 🌊

And time stood still… ✨At least, that’s what this photo looks like! 📸

The truth is, some moments deserve to feel frozen forever. This family joined us to celebrate a very special 60th birthday, swapping the usual meal out for an unforgettable adventure together.

It’s amazing how trying something new as a family creates memories that last far longer than any gift ever could. Laughter, encouragement, a few wipeouts, and plenty of smiles – all shared together in the Cornish sea. 🌊💙
