A creative idea … get designing a kit for the future !!

Our STEM-themed sport and space activity for kids is a football competition and is for children aged 4 to 13 years old. Design the very first Moon United football kit – a specially designed and adapted kit for the lunar footballers of the future.

🎪 CIRCUS SKILLS DAYS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS 🎪 FREE ENTRY 🎪

Join us through the Summer holidays for three FREE days of fun circus skills entertainment for all the family from 11am until 4pm.

Held on The Castle Lawn here at The Heritage Centre, we are offering free circus skills and face painting for our visitors. The lawn is the perfect place to come and spend the day, bring a picnic, join in the fun, browse our market stalls and sit back and listen to music. Café Limelight is open for refreshments and light bites, so come along, we've got everything for you to have a fun day out!

These special days are held on Wednesday 26th July, 9th August and 23rd August.

The Castle Heritage Centre, Art Galleries and Gift Shop are open 7 days a week from 10am until 5pm with free entry. Café Limelight on site have the perfect back drop to view the beach and stunning grounds with a perfect summer menu to choose from.

We had such a lovely day on Thursday at school at our Cornish hub day for Nursery, Reception, year 1 and year 2. It was wonderful to welcome around 80 other children to join our little Stars and Mercury classes and share our amazing outdoor area and resources. All of the children enjoyed meeting new friends and trying new activities. A huge thank you to our fabulous staff and the ever enthusiastic and calm Sophie Adey for preparing for the day and ensuring that it was a success. We are so lucky and grateful to have the insight, commitment and support that Sophie brings - having benefited from working with her for the last four years.

However the ultimate thanks has to go to our children whose behaviour and manners once again was exemplary. I am so proud of the children: it is a pleasure to be their headteacher🤩

What a powerful moment today for our Reception children. They visited our ‘book shop’ with books kindly donated by Spencer Thorn in Bude and got to select a few to keep at home. Thanks to Miss Willey for encouraging their love of reading. As well as a huge thank you to Josh, Jake and their mum Chantal for sourcing these books for us to share. We will send a letter and pictures out to Spencer Thorn soon to show our appreciation. 😍
