Once again we were blessed with another stunning day for my 6th Pros Day! 🌞
An incredible field of 176 players competed in our annual ‘Two Ball Texas Scramble’ format. The wind really picked up in the afternoon to make it a tough test but a brilliant net 61 for Martin Lydiard & Michael Cowen topped the leaderboard 🏆
I had a great day out on the 13th Hole for our ‘Double your money challenge’. As always there were some fantastic shots and some not so fantastic shots but nonetheless everyone seemed to enjoy it 😂
Thank you’s -
These days wouldn’t be possible without the great support we get at the club from certain individuals - Simon Greatbatch for setting up the competition and printing all of the scorecards - Pat Upwood & Phil Davis for manning the desk and welcoming the players and Jerry for doing everything Jerry does!
A special mention to Josh & Lily for helping pass drinks to the players at the drinks tent 🍻
The Office, Green keepers, Bar & Catering & Caretakers.
Also my team in the shop, Tony & Connor Vanstone for making my job as Head Professional extremely easy!
Lastly I’d like to thank all of the members & visitors for making the effort to play and for supporting the shop throughout the year. I never take for granted what an amazing place Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club is to be a Professional and days like these are always a great reminder of why!
A full list of the prizes will be up in the club house - All prizes will be credited to shop accounts 💰
Have a great rest of the season ☀️
