🏆 It’s Sports Day tomorrow!!!! The question is… which House will win the Sports Day Cup, and contribute lots of points towards the overall House Cup? So many points are available, it really could alter the current leader board! All results will be revealed in the final assembly on Friday! 🏆

Good luck everyone and don’t forget to wear your House colours with pride and respect. You’ve got this! 🤛💪

Centrepoint Sleep out was a HUGE success! Our Year 7&8 students spent last night playing in our School Games Room, followed by lots of sporting fun in the dome and on the astro, whilst the sun went down. They were then presented with their T Shirts as a big thank you for supporting the charity.

The sportshall quickly transformed into a giant “bedroom,” and the students helped themselves to the snacks donated kindly by Budehaven Staff, then watched the staff’s all time favourite film “Cool Runnings.” Mr GT & Mrs H do apologise for saying every word out loud throughout the entire film 🤣🤪

The students (most of them!) settled quickly to sleep (believe it or not) and awoke to more fun in the Games room and breakfast before packing up and heading home.

This is such a worthy charity and many people have asked us if they can donate money, despite not staying for the sleep out. On Monday, I will be asking our lovely accounts ladies to open this option up for you on gateway.

Our students were a true credit to our school, they showed immense respect to one another, enjoyed every second,
and never took the smiles of their faces. I think they deserve lots of recognition. Thank you 😊

This could not have happened without the superb organisation from Centrepoint Head of House Mr Drew and Assistant Head of House Mr Gwynn Thomas. Thank you both!

8ELH are running a virtual pet show to raise money for our 'Pets as Therapy' House Charity and we would like to encourage your child(ren) to enter!

It is 50p per entry to one of the 'virtual' categories, which can be paid via the school's gateway payment system. Your child will then be sent a link to upload a photo or a short video (less than 20 seconds). Students can enter as many categories as they are willing/able to pay for before the closing date of Friday 8th July!

Please help us to support this wonderful charity that supports some of our students at Budehaven.

Today we raised £209.70 for Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, well done Budehaven! Please watch Kayleigh below, to see who came 1st-7th.
All students will get +10 Achievement Points and those 1st-7th will get the following House points: 140, 120, 100 respectively etc.

Thank you very much to RNLI House Captain Kayleigh for organising and running this event, what a ⭐️ she is! Also, thank you to Mr Byrom & Mrs Pankhurst (Head / Assistant Head of RNLI) for supporting Kayleigh, as well as Lilly (Vice captain of RNLI), Liv (Charity Ambassador of RNLI) and Agatha (House Captain of PAT) for your support.

This morning in PAT House assembly, we welcomed Isla the Miniature Schnauzer. Isla is a therapy dog for Pets as Therapy as has spent plenty of time in Stratton Hospital supporting the patients. She will be offering reading therapy sessions with some of our students on a weekly basis. We can’t wait to see the impact it has. Here she is pictured with our PAT Vice House Captain and owner Lindsey.
