Are you proactive, compassionate, and ready to make a dynamic difference in young lives? We are excited to be recruiting for four new roles within our Area Resource Provision (ARB), Poppy Class!

At Bude Juniors, we are fiercely proud to offer a safe, ambitious, and caring environment where every child is supported to be the best version of themselves. No day is ever the same in Poppy Class—we all learn with and from one another, supported by a superb team of experienced staff and our equally amazing pupils.

Our children have a wide range of complex additional needs (including autism, developmental delays, and physical/medical needs). We are looking for flexible, 'think-on-their-feet' team players who are ready to support all aspects of school life, including lunchtime supervision and intimate care where required.

📋 Available Positions
1️⃣ Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Contract: Fixed-term until 31st August 2027 (Term time + 2 INSET days)

2️⃣ Teaching Assistants (3 Roles Available)

Hours: Two roles at 26 hours/week | One role at 32.5 hours/week

Contract: Fixed-term until 31st August 2027 (Term time + 2 INSET days)

🌟 And that’s a wrap on another fantastic academic year! 🌟

As the term comes to a close, we are reflecting on how special it is to be part of our school community. The connections we forge, the experiences we share, and the milestones we celebrate leave a lasting mark on all of us. We are so proud of everything our children, staff, and families have achieved together this year! 💙

All unclaimed items will be displayed outside the huts tomorrow morning. Please pop by and take a look to see if any of your child's missing belongings are there!

Are you an organised, friendly communicator looking to make a real difference in our school community? We are seeking a wonderful Academy Administrator to join the Bude Juniors family!

📍 Position: Academy Administrator (Permanent)
⏰ Hours: 21.25 hours per week (Term time only + 2 INSET days)

🌟🏆 WOW, WOW, WOW! What a fantastic PTA event! 🏆🌟

A massive shout-out goes to our incredible PTA volunteers, especially our core helpers Sam and Gina, and all the other wonderful volunteers who stepped up to support the event. We couldn't have done it without you! 👏❤️

We were so lucky to be joined by coaches from many of our fantastic local clubs, including rugby, netball, tennis, croquet, football, cricket, and hockey. We will be collating information from the coaches over the next few days to share details on how your children can get involved with these clubs.

💰 Fundraising Update:
We haven't totalled up the final amount raised just yet, but we will share the grand total as soon as everything is counted!

A huge thank you to everyone for the brilliant tombola donations and all the wonderful sponsorships. We are amazed to share that our top fundraiser raised over £300! 🤩🎉

This was a hugely successful event and a truly wonderful way for our community to come together. Thank you all for your incredible support! 🦅✨

Looking for a fantastic way to keep the kids active and having fun this summer?

🎒 End-of-Term Clubs & Wraparound Reminder 🎒

A quick reminder for all parents and carers as we head into the final days of the school year!

Most of our after-school clubs have now finished for the summer term. However, please note that Lego Cognition Club will still run as normal this coming Monday.

🕒 Important Wraparound Care Notice:
While our normal wraparound care continues for the rest of the term, the after-school wraparound club will close early at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, 21st July. Please make sure you have arrangements in place to collect your child by this time.
