As another fantastic school year comes to a close, we would like to wish all of our pupils, families and staff a wonderful, safe and relaxing summer holiday. ☀️💙

Our Summer Newsletter has now been emailed to parents and carers and includes a celebration of everything our pupils have achieved this term, along with important information and key dates for the new academic year.

We look forward to celebrating with our pupils as they collect their results and wish them every success.

We are then excited to welcome all pupils back to Elfed High School on Wednesday 2nd September for the start of another exciting school year.

Paris Trip Update

Following the earlier delays, we are pleased to confirm that we are booked onto the 8:40pm Calais to Dover ferry crossing this evening.

Based on current traffic and travel conditions, our coach driver estimates that we will arrive back in Buckley between 4:30am and 5:00am.

From this point onwards, we will be asking students to communicate any further updates directly with you as we continue our journey home.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding throughout the day.

We look forward to returning everyone home safely!

Ready for another brilliant day in Paris! 🇫🇷⚽

Our Day 3 adventure begins at the Parc des Princes, home of Paris Saint-Germain and the Champions of Europe! 🏆

The excitement is building as we’re about to head inside for a behind-the-scenes tour of one of Europe’s most iconic football stadiums. We can’t wait to see what awaits!

Paris 2026

What a fantastic day exploring some of Paris' most iconic landmarks! The students have loved ticking off the sights, from wandering the charming streets of Montmartre and visiting the stunning Sacré-Cœur to standing in awe of the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral.

As we made our way along the River Seine towards the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral, students immersed themselves in the city’s rich history, architecture and culture. Every journey offers an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.
Smiles, memories, and plenty of photos made for a day to remember!

Our Year 8-10 students arrived safely and headed straight to the iconic Eiffel Tower to begin their Parisian adventure. Bathed in glorious sunshine, it was the perfect start to what promises to be a fantastic trip! We're looking forward to sharing some more highlights over the coming days.
