This morning Mrs Barrett visited our classrooms to support the children is answering some question about how school life was like when she was a little girl to the present day. Before her visit, the children constructed questions on what they needed to know and had them ready to ask. Mrs Barrett was very impressed with their behaviour, questions and enthusiasm. Well done Year 2.

Year 1 has had a great week in Drawing Club this week exploring one of our favourite books, We're going on a bear hunt.

Today on the way back from the celebration assembly we noticed large, bear shaped footprints. We measured a few of our feet and it became clear they definitely weren't Miss Bradford's or Mrs Collin's and with such big claws they must belong to a bear! We followed them into the outside area where we saw it'd made a huge mess with our construction resources! We tided them away and convinced ourselves he must have ran into the woods, never to be seen again... or so we thought!

Half way through our lesson we saw the bear creeping around outside, but don't worry he was a friendly bear who came in to say hello. The morning ended with smiles all around :)

With new year starting and OPAL back in full swing, we are running low on a few resources. We are always still looking for large cable reels, planks and plastic pallets.
