The University of Buckingham Economics Society is the first of its kind in Buckingham.

We aim to enhance the experience of anyone that is interested in economics. We are Buckingham University's first Economics Society, the only official student society of the Department of Economics and International Studies. We aim to enhance your experience as student at the University of Buckingham. From academic and recreational events to study support we will provide you with a variety of offers to contribute to your time in Buckingham!

Lynne Kiesling (Northwestern University, Dpt. of Economics) will be coming to the University to give a talk on the regulation of public utilities (electricity) in the US.

We are organising a lunchtime seminar on Friday the 27th of February at 11:30 hrs (MB1).

You may want to check her profile (below) and the content of her blog on questions related to oil, energy and the regulation of public utilities: http://knowledgeproblem.com/ .

She is an expert in this field and of course it would be very good to have you all attending the seminar. She will welcome your questions at the end of the event and you can use the information given in the talk in your essays (for those studying Regulation and Privatisation).

The seminar will be followed by a light lunch and refreshments.

Everyone is welcome, and remember there is a seminar tomorrow in AdRB1!
