Meet the Swim Teacher – Lynne! 🏊

You may have already spotted Lynne around the pool or had the pleasure of being taught by her! Lynne is a fantastic member of our swim teaching team, bringing plenty of knowledge, encouragement and enthusiasm to every lesson.

Here are a few fun facts you might not know about Lynne:
✨ She's seen the Northern Lights.
📺 Her favourite TV show as a child was The Magic Roundabout.
🎶 She's been to see ABBA Voyage three times!
🏊‍♀️🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️ She's completed two short-distance triathlons and is taking on a third later this year.
🌈 She used to run a Brownie group.

Pop down to our sister-centre, Stoke Mandeville Stadium, for a Physical Activity Taster Event, and discover fun, friendly ways to get active, try something new and connect with your community!

📍 Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury

Enjoy a range of FREE activity tasters, including Tai Chi, Pickleball, Seated Exercise, Group Walks, Badminton, Walking Sports and more! There’ll also be a community marketplace, free blood pressure checks and refreshments.

The event is designed for ages 50+, but everyone is welcome and all abilities can take part! The event is FREE, but spaces are limited, so booking is essential.

Due to machinery issues and recent hot weather, Buckinghamshire Highways’ resurfacing works are scheduled for Wednesday 19th to Friday 21st August, with London Road closed from 7am - 7pm each day.

Our car park will be inaccessible during these times, and we’re working to facilitate alternative parking nearby.
