Want to watch and cheer on the runners (or just keep out of their way) on Sunday? Here is the full route and the runners will start from Hogshaw Farm at 09:30 and run clockwise around the route, hopefully all finishing back at Hogshaw Farm before 11:30.

We have two events coming up to get in motion - Sports Day BBQ in June and the 600 years Garden Party. If you'd like to help please come along. Sunday is Race Day at Hogshaw Farm
The ink isn't quite dry on the competitors instructions yet, but should be coming out on Wednesday. In brief car park & registration opens at 08:00 on Sunday and main race starts at 09:30, followed after 5 minutes by Canicross, then J12s at 09:50 and J16s at 10:00.

We hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend. We are 3 weeks out from race day now, with around 70 places remaining, and we are putting the final bits in place.
We are still short of course marshals, so if you fancy helping out it would be much appreciated.

HAVING A SPRING CLEAR OUT OVER EASTER?
Please don't forget we have our recycling bins on Chandos Road ready and waiting to take your donations. This is a great fundraiser for FRLS - we have already raised over £1,500 since September thanks to you! We're looking for clothes, bags, belts, shoes, and bedding but NO DUVETS or PILLOWS please. However, if you do have any pillows and duvets (not feathered) please consider giving them to the RSPCA or your local vet.
If you have any school uniform that is in good condition and you would like to donate it to FRLS please leave it at the Student Office after Easter. Since September we have raised £466. Thank you!

QUIZ NIGHT
To add to the Quiz Night news, as seen in this week's Latin, FRLS would like to thank all those who came and made it a wonderful evening. A special thank you goes to Mr and Mrs Jenkins for being the Quiz Masters and for organising the questions which suited all ages. Thank you also to all those amazing parents and students who helped move furniture, cook, bake, shop, serve and clear up! We can not hold these events without you! We raised a fantastic amount - just under £900. The Quiz Night will be back again in the not-too-distant future!

DO YOU STILL HAVE ANY OF THE OLD RLS PE KIT?
Akwaaba Volunteers have been operating in Ghana since 2016 working with over 1000 young people and families. One of the founders, Jordan Palmer, is an ex-student at RLS. FRLS would love to help Jordan and her charity equip the children with team kits for sports. RLS Sports Department have already sent some of the old 'green RLS logo' PE kit out there but the charity would welcome more donations. If you have any that you would like to donate, and the items are in good clean condition, please bring them in a bag and leave it at the Student Office addressed to FRLS. You may have heard us talking about RLS Connect in our most recent edition of Latin Life and we are so excited to announce that this brilliant new online home for Old Latins is now OPEN!
We have been astounded at how quickly everyone has been joining - we're up to 199 members in just a few hours!
RLS Connect is our brand new online space for our Old Latins to connect with each other, share stories, view photos, arrange and sign up to events, become an RLS mentor, and help in recording and preserving our unique heritage through our archive.

'Run the Claydons’ is back! This very popular North Bucks 8-mile running event, organised by Friends, will be held on Sunday 30th April starting at our new venue Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park which is just outside Botolph Claydon (5 miles from Winslow).

2023 RLS 600 YEAR ANNIVERSARY CALENDAR - FOR SALE NOW!
FRLS special 2023 Calendar to commemorate the 600th anniversary next year is on sale now. It's full of wonderful images showcasing the School throughout the centuries - many not seen before - and will also contain RLS term dates and the 600th Anniversary event dates to make this not only a useful and practical addition to households but a unique memento of the year. It is A4 opening out to A3, with plenty of room to write those all important dates and can be hung on your wall. DON'T FORGET: Lost Property - school have coats and uniform that are unclaimed. If your child has lost an item of clothing please ask them to collect from the Student Centre lost property boxes before the end of this week. After this date they will be donated to FRLS.
