When I first started Singalong, one of my aims was to provide a fun environment in which to develop your little one's speech and language.

The start of a new school year seems like the perfect time to bring that back into focus! Those of you who come regularly might notice a few tiny tweaks to our sessions to make what we already do even more Speech and Language oriented...

🦩 One of the things that I take real pride in at Singalong is building relationships with you and your children 🩷

🩷 The words here are from thank you card I received when a family moved away. It meant so much to me, as it talks about exactly what I try to create.

🩷 Singalong can be noisy, it can certainly be jumpy, and giggly and skippy and energetic and crazy!

🩷 But Singalong is also nurturing and personal, a bit smaller and a bit less overwhelming both for the grown ups and the children, with real opportunity to make relationships and encourage development.

I am absolutely buzzing to tell you that Singalong is going to be running intergenerational sessions in Lace Hill Manor Care Home from September!

Bringing our older generations together with our youngest ones is such a magical thing to be able to do: the benefits for everyone are just huge! They give everyone the opportunity to have fun and socialise, they break down stereotypes and they promote empathy and understanding. 👴👧👵👶

Lace Hill Manor Care Home are also subsidising these sessions for us, so the ticket price to you will be significantly reduced!

🦩 Refreshing some of my advertising recently means I have been spending quite a long time looking through photos from the last school year.

📸 Amongst my photos are chatty preschoolers who were just gurgly babies when I met them; confident toddlers who I've watched from being tiny babies when their big achievement was tracking Incy Wincy with their eyes; beautiful siblings where I've known the little ones since before they were bumps; great big smiles where once we hid behind mummy.

There are **so many** that I love, and some that aren't great photos but mean the world to me, but these ones I just had to share with you!

🎉 Singalong is coming to THORNBOROUGH in September! 🎉

🎵 Monday morning classes will be moving in September to Thornborough Village Hall - which is currently being refurbished, so goodness me it's going to be GORGEOUS for us!

🦆 If you don't know Thornborough, it's a beautiful village with a picture book stream, pond and village green, idea for a little run around either before or after classes.

😁 It's going to be so lovely! I'm quite squirmy with excitement!

We loved it so much last week at The Studio at The Café at Blackpit that we have booked to go back! 🩷

From September 24th we will be having monthly sessions on a TUESDAY in this gorgeous venue - AND we get 10% off in the cafe afterwards, which I think those of you who came last week will agree is a brilliant place for a coffee and a catch up with friends, or a toddler friendly lunch. ☕🫖🍼🥪

I 🩷 love 🩷 supporting local businesses, so I am absolutely thrilled to be starting this venture!

🦩 Pop up cake stall!!! Now outside Waitrose in Buckingham 🩷 We’ve got balloons and bakes left over from yesterday… when they’re gone they’re gone!!

🦩 Only had my five year old in the “support team” today, and although she was an excellent sweeper upper, I didn’t trust her with photography so this is my sum total of photos from this morning!!

🦩 Busy morning at Singalong HQ as we were packing my eldest (2nd from left in this pic!) off on choir tour. She started her singing career with Singalong!

Lot of you have met her and know how much she loves helping with your little ones, so she was VERY cross not to be able to come next week - I've promised we'll take her lots of photos!
