Our examination results support are routinely excellent and the well qualified staff are determined to maintain our excellent and distinctive character. The school sets its own high standards in work and behaviour, aiming to give each pupil a sound moral and intellectual foundation for life. The education provided takes full account of each girl’s capabilities and interests, and from the earliest
age girls acquire a sense of responsibility and confidence, tempered with a deep consideration for others. The school is able to offer small class sizes in both the Juniors and Seniors, with the significant advantage of teaching in small groups for many subjects in the Seniors, especially in GCSE options subjects. The high pupil-teacher ratio and individual attention builds confidence both academically and socially, and enables our pupils to reach their full potential.
