Outdoor Learning day with a local primary school. Creating native-wildlife stories in the story-tent after our sensory nature walk and bridge-building activities. The rain was coming in so we had to build bridges for our animals to move around the woods!There were mossy surfaces for tender paws, water slides for little mice, and hidden dens for rabbits to hide from foxes crossing the bridge. Not a troll in site!

Learning doesn’t have to be hard, boring, or come from books. You might have been ‘trained’ to want to know what this tree is called- but that is far from the full picture! How about finding out what wildlife it feeds, who nests in it, what uses it might offer humans... there is a far more interesting world out there than merely knowing the name of something. ☺️ 🌳
