🎵 Music Theory in minutes

Ever wondered why some notes are held longer than others? 🎶

Meet the different note values! From a semibreve to a semiquaver, each note tells us exactly how long to play or hold it.

👉 Challenge: Can you clap the rhythm at the bottom of the graphic while keeping a steady beat?

Save this post for a quick reminder, and follow AngleseyMusic for more music theory made simple! 🎵

Unfortunately we let Simon push a button on the website yesterday and it now doesn't work.

Simon attempted to repair it last night and now our emails don't work either 😳

We're going to turn it all off and back on again and hopefully it'll all work again later today.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

🎹 Meet the team at AngleseyMusic!

As co-owner alongside Simon, Nicole looks after the day-to-day admin, student enquiries, lesson schedules and accounts, and when it comes to gigs and events, you’ll find her getting stuck in with the lighting and sound setup too! 🔧🎶

We asked her a few questions about her musical journey, her favourite music, her love of animals 🕷️🦎 and what she enjoys most about being part of AngleseyMusic.

Swipe through to meet Nicole → ❤️

And if you're thinking about starting music lessons, take Nicole's advice:

Just give it a go! 🎹🎸
