It's always fantastic to welcome pupils from to King's and this week their Year 8 pupils joined us for a flan making competition as part of their leavers' programme! Helped by L6th BTEC Hospitality pupils, there were some impressive, and delicious creations. Well done to all the winners! .

A strong weekend of cricket for King’s! 🏏
Despite midweek fixtures being disrupted by the weather, King’s teams returned to action against Bryanston on Saturday. Highlights included a dominant nine-wicket win for the Girls’ 1st XI, with Lucy W taking four wickets, and an emphatic eight-wicket victory for the Boys’ U14As after bowling Bryanston out for just 28, with Josh H claiming 4 wickets.
The Boys’ U15As and U15Bs both competed well in closely fought matches, while Sunday’s annual Memorial Fixture against the Old Brutonians ended in a draw after a strong all-round performance from the 2nd XI.
A special congratulations to the Girls’ U15s, who secured a 49-run victory over Prior’s Field School in the National Schools Super 8s Quarter Final to book their place at Finals Day for the second consecutive year!

Brilliant to take some of our L6th Form Politics pupils to hear Rory Stewart speak on ‘Is populism going to win?’ today. Deeply relevant to our A Level course and for shaping future leaders. So many insightful and erudite points made - thank you Rory! Great to see some of our pupils asking him some questions. Big thanks to Cumberland Lodge, St Paul's Cathedral, Paula Gooder and Fergus Drake for putting on the event.

Our Captain of Cricket, Ollie, is pictured here with Larger Than Life - a new biography about Old Brutonian William Donne, written by Barry Phillips.

Donne helped organise the cricket tour that unknowingly won Olympic gold in Paris in 1900. Remarkably, his team has remained the reigning Olympic cricket champions for over 125 years, with cricket only returning to the Games in 2028! 🏏🥇
