Friday 7th March girls at Sexey’s School will be taking part in the biggest ever football session. Students will be taking part in Football@in their PE lessons and we will be sending club links out in our end of week newsletter.

The 6F travelled to The Gryphon School today for their first netball match of the season. The newly formed team captained by Abi met a formidable side filled with club players. However, in true Sexeys style the girls went from strength to strength as the match progressed with some excellent centre pass to shot progression. The focus of the game was to come forward for the ball and each member of the team showed commitment to that. Big shout out to Bella who got award Player of the Match in her Sexeys debut. Well done girls! ✨🤩✨

Year 7 2024 first Hockey fixture of the season and a 3-1 away win for them against Wadham. Great effort from all and we are looking forward to seeing how you progress in the league. Well done! 🤩

U16 County Bronze medalists 🥉after missing nearly two years of fixtures due to Covid, these girls have done amazingly well. They were undefeated in our Area League finals to qualify for today’s county final in Taunton. We had some tough matches but the girls displayed some fantastic ball skills. Huge shout out to captains Jessie and Tilly for their on court support and to all the players for your tenacious attitudes; can’t wait to see what the future holds ✌🏽⚡️🥳

Unbelievably proud of our U15 Netball team today. Area league finals; first match V Ansford went to extra time and we won 11-9 🎉 we then met Westfield in the final-this was a tough match but we didn’t give up, tenacious to the end left the score 23-15 at the final whistle to Westfield. are second in the area 🎉🤩🙌🏽✌🏽 well done to for a great game

What a day... GCSE PE moderation, two awesome sessions at Affinity Wellbeing Cross fit in Frome, first team cricket and inter house rugby... Fantastic day for sport, well done team PE, Mr Mcmanus and everyone who took part in the sessions ☺️

Great season for the Year 7 Netball team. Undefeated in the league, undefeated in the league finals and then undefeated in the School Games... Final against Haygrove was a tough one and final score was 1-5 to HG. Second in Somerset for Sexey's and a great season to work from. Well done girls ☺️
