What a lovely day to celebrate 122 years. 600 old girls have been sharing their fond memories of BSG as they wandered around the site.

Sports Day! The girls had a great day bashing each other with pugil-sticks, bouncing, sliding and bumping. The staff had as much fun as the kids too!

You are probably aware it is with sadness that we have recently announced the closure of Bruton School for Girls from the end of this term. To mark 122 years, we are hosting a celebration incorporating Speech Day, on Saturday 2nd July, with music and entertainment from 6.30pm, which will culminate with fireworks at 11pm. Every effort will be made to keep the music and general noise levels as contained as possible 💚

We are very much looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday 29th June for our Open House event. We have had such an amazing response that we have decided to extend the time slightly to ease any congestion. It will now run from 1.30pm until 4.30pm. If you are coming with friends and family, we would be grateful if you could car share to ensure we have enough space.

We will also have some memorabilia and clothing items available but this will be for cash sales only.

Upon arrival, please report to the Main School Reception to sign in.

What terrific support the children had for Sports Day from all the parents, Grandparents, Nanny’s and friends. Thank you for your encouragement. The children were the absolute stars of the show: challenging themselves, concentrating, helping each other, showing kindness and patience. As I prepare the flickr album I could not be more proud looking at pictures of children working together, staff and children interacting in harmony, the older girls cheerleading the nursery children. It was a day of precious memories.
Congratulations to Kelvyn on Winning the Sunny Hill Nursery 2022 Golden Egg for the parents race. It was wonderful to see so many parents showing their children what joining in is all about! “
