We are delighted to welcome our new Year 7 students to school tomorrow, alongside our returning students, as we begin a new academic year together.

We are also excited to welcome our new Lower Sixth students and our returning Upper Sixth to Sexey’s Sixth Form. We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and is feeling renewed, refreshed and ready for the year ahead!

Year 7: Our new Year 7 students should make their way to the Main Hall for 8.40am, where they will meet their new tutors and Head of Year.

Boarders: New and returning boarders are warmly welcomed this evening between 4pm and 8pm in Macmillan House.

Part-time and weekly boarders: You are very welcome to come along this evening and set up your new rooms in Lisbury House from 4pm to 6pm.

We can't wait to see you all and to fill Sexey’s with the energy, excitement and enthusiasm of a new school year.

A huge congratulations to our Year 11 students on their GCSE results! We are incredibly proud of their hard work, determination and achievements, with another year of strong results across the school and particularly in English and Maths.

Many of our students will continue their journey at Sexey’s Sixth, while others will move on to new opportunities and pathways.

Whatever comes next, we wish every one of them every success
and happiness for the future.

We are delighted to celebrate the fantastic A Level results achieved by our Year 13 students. Their hard work, determination and commitment have paid off, with many now moving on to university, apprenticeships and exciting next steps.

Congratulations to all our students, their families and the dedicated staff who have supported them throughout their Sixth Form journey. We are incredibly proud of you all and wish you every success for the future!

Last month members of the Sexey's Jazz Band played a gig at a packed Marston Magna Summer Fair. The weather was perfect and the set list included staples from the jazz repertoire, such as 'Fly Me to the Moon', 'So What?', and the Dave Brubeck classic 'Take Five'.

Considering the oldest member of our group is in Year 9, Mr Higgs (Head of Music) was blown away by the maturity and professionalism of the group, and the incredibly high standard at which they performed. They received rapturous support from a large crowd, and were a credit to themselves and the school.

Help Shape Sexey's New Eco-Garden! 🌿 Thanks to funding from The Newt and our journey to becoming an Eco-School, we're transforming our grounds—and we want your ideas!

Design the whole Eco-Garden or just one feature, label your ideas and explain why they're brilliant, then submit your A3/A4 or digital design to Mr Clayson by 13th July.

The winning design receives a £30 gift card, and the best ideas will be brought to life when work begins this autumn!

Join us for our School Summer Concert on Tuesday 7th July, taking place in the Main Hall at 7pm.

The evening will showcase the talent and hard work of our students, with performances from the School Orchestra, Dynamix, String Group, Ensembles and more.

Tickets are now available on ScoPay - £5 per person (all ages), under 5s free.

We hope you can join us for an enjoyable evening of live music and support our students.
