Kirkhill Primary and Nursery School Christmas Fayre – Summary
The Kirkhill Primary and Nursery School Christmas Fayre was a lovely event and a great success. Thanks to the incredible support from our school community, we raised a fantastic £1,164.81.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who came along to support the fayre, and to all the staff and Parent Council members who helped plan, set up, run stalls, and tidy away. Your time and effort truly made the day possible. A big thank you as well to Santa for sparing a couple of hours of his precious time — he is a very busy man at this time of year after all!
Sadly, this year, we were unable to put on a raffle and we know a few people raised the question of why. As a small Parent Council, we simply don’t have enough members at the moment to organise a raffle or gather donations alongside our other commitments. We are always in need of more members to help share the workload. If anyone is interested in getting involved, even in a small way, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we would love to welcome you.
Everything the Parent Staff Council does is to support the children at Kirkhill Primary and Nursery. All funds raised go straight back into the school, helping to provide items and experiences such as P7 leavers gifts, P1 starter packs, Nursery-P3 books and P4-7 Selection Boxes at Christmas, school trips, and school camp.
Thank you again to everyone who supported the Christmas Fayre and continues to support our school community.
The recent Bags2Go drive was also a great success, with just over £94 being raised, which equates to 316kg of clothes being donated. Once again, we thank everyone for being so willing to participate in this.
