Is your child ready to play with other children in a safe, structured environment, with fully trained, fully disclosed staff? Do you feel your child is ready to take the next step from Parent and Toddler groups? We aim to provide children aged 2 years to 5 years a safe, caring, learning environment, where they can realise their full potential in a fun and enjoyable manner. You can find us in the S

trathbrock Community Centre (next to the doctors) in Broxburn. We offer morning sessions from 8:30am to 11:30am, Monday to Friday, and afternoon sessions from 12:15 pm to 3:15 pm Monday, Thursday and Friday only. We operate during term time in line with West Lothian Council term dates (see the link at the bottom of this page). There is a fixed fee for attending playgroup per session/full day, as detailed below:

- Half Day - £15
- Full Day - £32

Spaces will be allocated depending on availability.

Next Friday 26th June will be our last ever day at playgroup 🥺
All our playgroup families are invited to Join us for an awesome farewell party aswell as a small graduation for our playgroup kids 9-11am in the big hall. Playgroup will finish after the party.

We know this will be an emotional time for all but let’s remind ourselves it’s for the kids and we are so grateful for all the memories we have made with you all 🩷

Last night we held an emergency meeting with parents regarding the future of Broxburn Playgroup.

Attached is the full statement shared during that meeting.

We want to be fully transparent with our community:
the current Broxburn Pre-School Playgroup charity is expected to close and will not continue in its current form following withdrawal of funded provider status and ongoing financial pressures.

However, while the current playgroup is ending, many parents, staff, volunteers and local supporters have already come together determined that Broxburn should not lose its playgroup altogether.

We are now exploring the possibility of creating something entirely new — built with stronger long-term support and real community involvement at its heart ❤️

A community GoFundMe has now been launched to support the children’s graduation celebrations and help lay foundations for a future new playgroup for the community.

We invite all parents/carers to attend our teams meeting this Thursday at 7pm. We ask that all of our service users try to attend.

We have been getting asked a lot of questions regarding our closure and invite you all to attend this meeting for your questions to be answered.
