Our Outdoor Space is Growing!

We’re delighted to see our outdoor provision continuing to develop, creating spaces where all children can enjoy their playtimes in different ways. 💚

⚽ MUGA – used for year-group football and active play
🥅 Football pitch – open for everyone to enjoy
🏓 Table tennis tables – perfect for friendly games and competition

📚 Our Chill-Out Zone – a new space where children can sit and relax with friends, read a book, enjoy some drawing or simply take some time out. We’ve also added Jenga, ready for children to enjoy together! 🧩

🏕️ Loose Parts & Den-Building Zone – a new space for children to build, explore, create and have fun with their friends. We also have some new and exciting equipment being developed this week! 👀✨

🏆 Lunchtime Hall Games – our indoor lunchtime games are beginning to grow too! These activities provide another opportunity for children to have fun together while developing resilience, turn-taking and healthy competition.

It’s fantastic to see our spaces evolving to offer opportunities for play, creativity, friendship, wellbeing, exploration and challenge. 🌟

We can’t wait to see how the children use these new spaces and enjoy all the opportunities they bring! 💙

🎲 Game Donations for Lunchtime Fun! 🎲

We are looking to enhance our lunchtime provision in the hall by creating a selection of fun games for our pupils to enjoy. We would be very grateful for any good-quality, unwanted games you may have at home that you are willing to donate.

We are particularly looking for games such as:

* Dominoes
* Connect 4
* Frustration
* Orchard Toys games
* Other suitable games for our pupils

If you are able to donate, there are a few options for dropping games off:

📍 Next week – please leave donations at the top of the car park, by the sheltered doors/entrance to school, and they will be brought into school.

📍 INSET days – donations can be dropped off at the sheltered doors/entrance at the top of the car park.

📍 When we return to school – you can send donations in with your child or drop them at the school office.

Any donations would be very gratefully appreciated and will help us provide more fun and engaging activities for our children at lunchtime. 💙

A huge congratulations to three of our wonderful staff members on completing additional qualifications this year!

Well done to Mrs Taylor, Mrs Gwilliam and Mrs Aldridge on all of your hard work and commitment to your professional development. Completing further study alongside the demands of school life is no small achievement, and we are incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished.

We’re delighted to share that Bob the Boat has been installed in our Reception outdoor area! 🚤☀️

This fantastic new addition was won by Miss Gray-Davis through a competition, and we are so grateful for her success. Thanks to her achievement, our Reception children now have an exciting new resource to inspire imaginative play, teamwork and outdoor learning.

We can’t wait to see all the adventures our children will have on board Bob the Boat! 💙

☀️ Wishing all of our families a wonderful summer! ☀️

As another fantastic school year comes to an end, we’d like to thank all of our children, families, and staff for their hard work, support, and achievements throughout the year.

We hope you all enjoy a safe, happy and relaxing summer filled with fun, laughter and special memories with family and friends.

We look forward to welcoming all of our children back to school on Thursday 3rd September, ready for another exciting year of learning and adventure.

✨ What a wonderful day at school! ✨

Today we celebrated our amazing Year 6 pupils with a lovely Leavers’ Lunch, where they were joined by their families to enjoy a special meal together and mark the end of their primary school journey. 🥰

After school, the celebrations continued with our outdoor discos. It was fantastic to see everyone dancing in the sunshine with their friends, enjoying the music and making wonderful memories together. ☀️🎶💃🕺

🌿 Can You Help Our Outdoor Play Area? 🌿
We are creating an outdoor loose parts and den-building area and would be incredibly grateful for any donations of the following items:
Wooden planks
Wooden or plastic crates
Tree stumps or logs
Bamboo canes
PVC waste pipes
Guttering downpipes
Large wooden blocks
Large pegs or clamps
Weatherproof storage boxes with lids
Perspex sheeting

If you have any of these items that you no longer need and would be happy to donate, please let us know or drop them into the school office.

Thank you for your continued support. These resources will help provide our children with fantastic opportunities for imaginative play, teamwork, problem-solving and outdoor learning.

🌟 Good luck, Jude! 🌟

One of our pupils, Jude, is taking on an incredible challenge by climbing Snowdon to raise money for Cancer Research UK this weekend.

Jude will be walking to the summit in support of this fantastic cause, and we are all so proud of his determination and kindness.

🎸🎤 Our Rock Steady Rockstars have been amazing! 🌟
