We’ve already introduced you to our wonderful Orphans and the unforgettable Miss Hannigan, and now we are delighted to introduce the star of the show… ANNIE! ❤️

💬 What do you enjoy most about playing Annie?
“It’s honestly such an honour to play Annie. I feel very lucky. I love singing ‘Tomorrow’. I love dancing – I really enjoy the contemporary moves in some of the dances. I also enjoy acting. I love to express myself and put everything into a scene.”

🎶 What is your favourite song or scene in Annie?
“My favourite song in Annie is ‘Hard Knock Life’, as it is a great song to express how you are feeling as an orphan. My favourite scene is the one just before ‘NYC’ because it’s such a fun scene to do.”

💎 Fun Fact!
“My name Maisie means ‘pearl’. I was named after my mum’s favourite gemstone and it’s my favourite too.”

Our countdown to opening night continues, and after meeting some of our wonderful Orphans, we think it’s time to introduce the woman who keeps them all in line… or at least tries to! 😆

🌟 Meet Madi Lothian as Miss Hannigan 🌟

When asked what she loves about playing Miss Hannigan, Madi said:

“I love getting to play such an over-the-top character and having a lot of fun with the role. It’s also always a privilege to play a character who is so iconic in musical theatre. She definitely ticks that box!”

💬 What do you enjoy most about playing Duffy?
“I feel Duffy is the perfect role for me and suits my personality – a little bit bossy and fiercely loyal.”

🎶 What is your favourite song or scene in Annie?
“My favourite song is Easy Street. Even though I don’t perform it, I would love to play Lily St. Regis when I’m older! I also love performing You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile because it’s such a fun song with all the orphans together having a blast.”

Arabella has been part of Stage Academy for nearly a year and loves playing Kate because of her cheeky personality.

When she’s not on stage, Arabella enjoys dancing, swimming and netball, and here’s a fun fact about her – she danced in the Disneyland parade last year! 🏰💃
