Kids Make It

The Community Toolbox is due to be launched in May. This project will be for community members to hire items such as power washers/carpet cleaners/lawnmowers/drills/gazebos/camping equipment etc at very affordable costs. We need 2 or 3 people to volunteer for a couple of hours on a Tuesday morning to handout the equipment ( it will have been booked and paid for online ) and store items back in the container that are being returned. Training for the role will be delivered by Wellbeing Works in the run up to the launch in May

Yes, that is a baby goat wearing a hand-knitted jumper… and yes, your knitting could be next.

We’re inviting knitters of all abilities to help keep our baby goats warm for Goats in Coats 2026, using our official goat coat pattern. Selected jumpers will be worn by the kids themselves, with all entries proudly displayed at the festival.

✨ Judged by Game of Wool finalist Ailsa Stephen!

Shortlisted jumpers will be judged live at Goats in Coats on Saturday 11 April come along and see the creativity (and cuteness) in person.
