We enjoyed searching and finding bugs, planting flowers and making butterflies in the Playdough!

Monday's favourite activity?
I would say searching for and finding all our big and little bugs! And when I say big bugs, I mean BIG bugs!

How?
When you're pregnant, everyone always says to you it will fly by and it truly does. How on earth do I have a 7 year old? 🫶🏼

I remember her birth as if it was yesterday.
Born just before midnight in time to celebrate mine and my husbands 13th year together as a couple on Friday 13th. Unlucky for some but for us the most precious day.

She's had a wonderful 'Yes Day' - the first time we've 'done' a yes day but so much fun!
We started the day with, in her words, "a pub brunch with family" 🤣 followed by swimming, toy shopping, KFC, cake and film of her choice... Tangled (Rapunzel) 💜💛

Her party is pending and I'm so excited for her party theme this year. Swipe across for a party clue 🕵🏼‍♀️

I think we've read the book five times since, but Mr H's voice has no match to Rob's, as the kids keep telling him 🫣🤣

My favourite place to end the week... 📚🎪✨

We enjoyed the tunnel, parachute, Gruffalo crumble and making autumnal tea.

Friday's favourite activity?
I would say the Gruffalo crumble and autumnal leaves for sure! So many little ones sitting in the oats exploring the textures and yes, the autumnal 'bran flake' leaves were a huge hit in this class 🤣

Literally buzzing! 🤎

​Apologies for the PJs, but I couldn't help but jump on after reading Gruffalo's Granny!

​It's Little Miss' birthday this weekend so I pre-ordered it as a gift for her, but as it got closer to the time, I realised I needed to grab one for Little Man too since he's a HUGE Julia Donaldson fan. So they'll both be unwrapping a Gruffalo Granny present this weekend 🤫🤫

​I'm honestly not sure whose reaction will be better - mine or the kids'! Without giving too much away, if you are a Gruffalo or Julia Donaldson fan, it's a complete must-buy.

I know many of you agree... it feels so good to be back 🫶🏼

We enjoyed being back, singing our welcome and goodbye songs and having oats and bran flakes in our Gruffalo tea 🫖🤣

Thursday's favourite activity?
I would say the playdough for sure! We had so many creative and artistic creations made with the Playdough from both the little ones and the grown ups.
