Montessori Tutor Educational support with Montessori Materials for children from 3-7 years in Hertfordshire. No child is ever made to feel they are unable to achieve.

My name is Jane Sandhu and I am a qualified Montessori teacher, NNEB and NVQ assessor, with over 30 years experience working with children. t School in Singapore. I started Willowbrook Nursery in North Mymms in 2002 and worked closely with Ofsted and Hertfordshire County Council where we got good Quality rating. I have had extensive training over the years, including Dyslexia awareness, managing challenging behaviour and have worked with many professionals including Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists. My approach with children is that of kindness, patience and understanding and for the children to have fun. Children are at their happiest when they are busily involved in processes. Children are natural learners who, if left to follow their instincts, will want to constantly explore the world. Tutoring 1:1 with children means that skills that need supporting can be addressed quietly and gently without disrupting a child’s self-esteem. Emphasis is placed on children being inspired and interested and fostering a love of learning which may sometimes sadly have been diminished by certain factors. I see it as my role to help them understand and enjoy their learning journey, adapting my approach to suit them. I also hold a valid DBS Police check. Please contact me for more information.
