Values Cup/Robinson cup Winner for October

Huge congratulations to Daithi Corcoran, our October Robinson/Values Cup winner for Creative Expression!
Daithi is a fantastic ambassador for creativity, both in and out of school. A talented accordion player, he proudly performs with our school Grúpa Ceoil and with Roslea Comhaltas, sharing his love of Irish traditional music with audiences near and far.
His musical achievements have earned special recognition, including appearing with his brother on the cover of the Belfast Fleadh Programme and featuring in newspaper articles celebrating success at the All-Ireland Fleadh. Alongside his musical accomplishments, Daithi has also excelled in verse speaking competitions at the local Feis, demonstrating confidence, expression and outstanding communication skills.
Whether performing on stage, speaking before an audience, competing in sports, or representing his school and community, Daithi consistently displays creativity, dedication and enthusiasm. He embraces every opportunity to develop and share his talents, inspiring others through his positive attitude and commitment.
Outside of music and verse speaking, Daithi is an enthusiastic sportsman who enjoys playing Gaelic football with Heber Mac Mahon GAA Club, soccer with Fivemiletown United, as well as cycling and jogging. His determination, humility and willingness to support others make him a wonderful role model within our school community.
Well done, Daithi! We are incredibly proud of all that you have achieved and look forward to seeing your many talents continue to flourish in the years ahead.

FODC Townlands Jigsaw Project
Our P6/7 class had a fantastic day at the FODC Townland Jigsaw project in the Castlepark centre in Lisnaskea.Last year, our pupils worked very well alongside the Brookeborough Controlled PS pupils during our Shared Education lessons to design and paint jigsaw pieces for this wonderful community project.
It was very special to see their hard work come together as part of the completed Townlands jigsaw. The pupils also enjoyed meeting children from schools across Fermanagh and taking part in a wide range of fun activities throughout the day including biodiversity games, museum activities, sports, arts and crafts, games and Geopark activities. A memorable day celebrating local history, heritage , creativity and community.

A busy week in P.1/2
P.1/2 had a busy week last week. They focused on the Elmer story and talked about how we are all unique and special. They developed colour recognition by sorting and working on pattern. To top off all the great work, they had a play dough disco on Friday. They worked on developing their fine motor skills by strengthening the muscles in their hands and were working on their attention and listening.

A Fond Farewell to Fr. Brendan and a Warm Welcome to Fr. Vitus

On 8th September 2026, we were blessed to celebrate the opening Mass of our new school year with Fr. Brendan Gallagher and Fr. Vitus.
It was a special and emotional occasion as we thanked Fr. Brendan for his outstanding sacramental, spiritual and pastoral support over the past 11 years and wished him every happiness in his retirement. Following Mass, our Board of Governors representatives joined us in presenting Fr. Brendan with a gift as a token of our gratitude.
We also extend a warm welcome to Fr. Vitus and look forward to sharing many school Masses and celebrations together in the years ahead.
