Applications for school places in Worcestershire for September 2027 are now open.

Parents and carers should apply if their child is due to start school for the first time, or is transferring to a Middle or High School, in September 2027. The deadline for High School applications is 31 October 2026, while the deadline for Primary, First, Infant, Junior and Middle School applications is 15 January 2027.

When making your three preferences, we strongly encourage you include your catchment school as one of your choices. This helps ensure you have the best chance of securing a place at a local school if you are not offered one of your other preferred schools.

Guidance on starting school and moving on to the next stage of education is available at www.worcestershire.gov.uk/schooladmissions.

We are so excited to welcome our Dodford Family — new and old — back to school on Thursday 3rd September 2026! 🏫💙

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer and are feeling refreshed and ready for another fantastic year of learning, friendship and fun. We can’t wait to see all those smiling faces again and to welcome our new families into the Dodford community. 🥰

📝 Registration: 8.50am
🏫 School finishes:
• EYFS – 3.10pm
• Rest of school – 3.15pm

As another fantastic school year comes to an end, we would like to thank all of our wonderful pupils, families, and staff for making it such a memorable one. We particularly want to acknowledge our incredible Year 4 Class of 2026 as they prepare to begin their exciting journey to Middle School.
What an amazing group of young people they have been! Over the years, they have shown outstanding progress, embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, celebrated each other's successes, and filled our school with laughter, kindness, and curiosity. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and of the confident, capable individuals they have become.
While it's hard to say goodbye, we know they are more than ready for this next chapter. They leave with wonderful memories, lasting friendships, and the skills and confidence to embrace every opportunity that lies ahead.
Thank you, Year 4, for being such a special part of our school family. You will be greatly missed, but we can't wait to see all that you accomplish in the future. We wish each and every one of you every success, happiness, and adventure as you begin Middle School. Good luck, Class of 2026—your future is bright, and we know you'll continue to make us proud! 🎓✨
