Kirstie from ZooLab delivered a fun and educational workshop to the children this week. We loved listening to the story and meeting all the creatures. 🕷️🪳🐌🐍
We also said goodbye to our big boys and girls who will be going to big school in September 🥳

Thank you to Keelan from Superstar sports for delivering a free sports session to our nursery children last Thursday. Children loved participating and had lots of fun :)

Last week we enjoyed painting in the garden and making England cakes. This week we plan to keep cool with lots of water play and making the most of our shady garden in the early morning.

This week, we celebrated World Bee Day. We took this opportunity to learn about bees, and the children participated in a variety of engaging activities. They explored a real beehive and tasted delicious Rubery Honey from a local beekeeper.

Over the past few weeks, we have been exploring lifecycles and how things grow. The children planted beans and sunflower seeds, and together we set up our nursery garden. We are now growing strawberries, tomatoes, peas, and a variety of herbs. Our butterflies have entered the cocoon stage, and we are eagerly waiting to see them transform.

To deepen our understanding of the environment, we enjoyed engaging activities for Earth Day and learned about ways to care for our planet. During music sessions, we have been using the classic song “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” to support our learning and make connections to our gardening experiences.
