Perryfields is a traditonal setting & Parkside a more modern feel. Both are run by incredible staff, who will love and care for your child. Manager Vicky Young started childminding in 1986 when she was asked by her mom Barbara, who had previously adopted, fostered and cared for many, many children, to join together to cater for the increasing demand for child care in Bromsgrove. They moved into a
purpose built room at Vicky and Keith's house in Victoria Road, when they soon realised the room was not sufficient to accommodate the ever growing demand of parents looking for childcare at The Castle. The room was extended and Vicky and Barbara teamed up with close friends to form a well established child care setting at Victoria Road. In 2002 Keith took the opportunity to join the business as a full time member of staff and in 2004 the opportunity arose for Vicky and Keith to buy an established 15 place nursery at 131 Perryfields Road. Over the next 3 years the nursery at Perryfields increased in size to it's present capacity where we are registered for a maximum of 42 children per day. In 2009 Keith and Vicky were approached by the senior executives at BHI Parkside to look at the possibility of a nursery in a brand new medical centre in the middle of Bromsgrove. They worked closely with the architect to use their expertise to design a purpose built child care setting and were able to open Castle Nursery at Parkside at Easter 2011. Due to the hard work and dedication of our long standing and highly qualified staff both settings achieved Outstanding in all areas at their latest Ofsted inspections. The Castle Nursery has grown in size whilst still maintaining the loving family ethos that was started in 1986.
