‘Inspired By’ our ‘Artist of the Week’ Mark Hearld & September’s ploughing of the land - our younger artists enjoyed ‘simply painting’ upon our return to the studio today.

The flocks of black headed gulls that appear as if my magic - when the local farmer begins ploughing the land behind the studio. Quite wonderful to witness. So many birds all enjoying the feasts of the soil.

Hearld helped our artists see the land, tractor and busy birds in a simplified way whilst still achieving the cheeky birds’ characters!

From: ploughing fields, the land at sunset, to a finger painted constellation night sky with birds still flying, to a windmill with the flock approaching! - so many ideas and much joy painting them.

Loving these pieces, can’t wait to see them all finished.

Big thank you to my awesome son, amazing job!

We will be ready for Saturday, but my goodness it’s busy busy busy.

Recycling, reusing where we can.

We are struggling to get the kitchen units on the wall though, can anyone recommend a carpenter or kitchen fitter who could get them on the wall securely & safely, before Saturday please ? (They are really heavy.)
