🌈 SEPTEMBER IS ALMOST HERE!

After a lovely summer of messy play, I’ll be back from w/c 7th September with four brand new themes ready to explore. ✨

Each week will be packed with sensory play, messy fun and lots of opportunities for little ones to explore, create and learn through play. 💛

And just like that… summer messy play is finished 🥹

What a couple of weeks it’s been.

Circus adventures, sandy beaches, gloopy lemonade, ice cream making, ocean rescues and SO much mess.

Thank you to every single family who has spent part of their summer with me. I never take for granted that you choose to bring your little ones here to play. 💛

I’m going to enjoy a little break before we start all over again on 7th September — and I already have SO many ideas bubbling away for our new themes. 👀

One of this week’s activities is our Save the Ocean water tray. ♻️🐠

Alongside all the splashing, scooping and pouring, it gives us a lovely little opportunity to introduce looking after our oceans and the animals that live there.

Obviously at this age we keep it simple — rescuing the sea creatures, collecting the rubbish and chatting about keeping their homes clean. 💙

Messy play doesn’t have to be complicated to have meaning.

And yes… most of the water will still end up on the floor. 😂

🪼 ACTIVITY SPOTLIGHT — JELLYFISH SENSORY TRAY

One of this week’s Under the Sea activities and its such a lovely one for little hands to explore.

This tray is packed with different textures to scoop, pour, mix, sprinkle and discover — with our wiggly jellyfish right in the middle of it all. 🪼

There’s no set way to play. Some little ones will spend ages filling and emptying, others will get straight in with both hands, and some will carefully explore each section one at a time.

That’s what I love about sensory play — the same activity can look completely different for every child. 🌈

🎪 When Alfie came to play… 🌈

It’s been a while since I’ve had Alfie join me at class.

In all honesty, in previous years I’ve found the juggle quite hard — trying to be present for your little ones while also being Mum to my own. ❤️

But Thursday really showed me just how much he’s grown up. 🥹 He was such a little helper, getting stuck in, chatting to everyone and generally making my day that little bit easier.

Well… apart from clean-up time, when he conveniently disappeared off to play football. 🤦‍♀️😂⚽️

Thank you from me and Alfie for joining us for another day of messy play fun at the circus.

And that’s a wrap on Circus Week! I’ll be back week commencing 17th August for lots of At the Beach messy play fun.

Watching children become completely immersed in play is something I’ll never get tired of.

There are no right or wrong ways to explore here—just curiosity, imagination and lots of wonderful mess.

A little look at today’s private messy play setup ☀️🐾🍦

I brought together lots of summer fun, animals, ice cream and plenty of colourful, hands-on play for today’s special session.

I loved creating each activity and watching the whole theme come together. Private sessions are such a lovely way to enjoy Creative Rainbow Explorers with your own little group, with the setup planned especially for you.

There really is no better feeling than receiving your lovely reviews. 🌈

Creative Rainbow Explorers may look like lots of colourful, messy fun and it definitely is. But behind every activity is a carefully planned opportunity to explore, learn, build confidence and make special memories together.

I feel incredibly lucky that families choose to spend their time with me, whether they’ve been coming since they were tiny or have only recently discovered our little messy-play community.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such kind words. They genuinely mean more to my small business than you’ll ever know. 💛

Our little pirates and mermaids certainly made a splash! 🏴‍☠️🧜‍♀️

They explored the spaghetti octopus cave, searched for treasure, splashed through the mermaid lagoon and got wonderfully messy in the pirate gloop swamp.

Outside, there were ships to build, treasure maps to paint, mermaid shells to wash and magical colour-changing oceans to discover 🌊✨

It was the perfect theme to finish our regular sessions before my summer break. Thank you to everyone who joined me for another wonderfully messy adventure!
